The Greenfield, Mass.-based Organic Trade Association announced its 2005-2006 officers at its annual meeting at the All Things Organic Conference and Trade Show in May.

Phil Margolis of Neshaminy Valley Natural Foods Distributor, who has been president since 2003, was re-elected.

Other 2005-2006 officers include Jesse Singerman of Roundy?s Inc., vice president representing the United States and president-elect; Debra Boyle of SunOpta Inc., vice president representing Canada; Chuck Marcy of Marcy & Partners, treasurer; Julia Sabin of Smucker Quality Beverages, secretary; and Lynn Clarkson of Clarkson Grain Co., at-large member on OTA?s executive committee.

In addition, Luis Acu?a of CF Fresh and Jesse Singerman were re-elected to the board, and H?l?ne Bouvier of Minnewashta Valley Organics Canada Inc. and Matt McLean of Uncle Matt?s Organic Inc. were newly elected to the board. Dave DeCou, of One Step Forward Farm, and Marcy were selected to fill two board positions.

Other members on the board include Nancy Hirshberg of Stonyfield Farm, Theresa Marquez of Organic Valley/ CROPP Cooperative, Marty Mesh of Florida Certified Organic Growers & Consumers/Quality Certification Services, Maria Morgan of Small Planet Foods Inc. and Mary Mulry of H.E. Butt Grocery Co.
