Fair trade picking up speed

 Fair trade sales have skyrocketed in recent years and will continue to see increases, according to reports from Schaumburg, Ill.-based natural products research company SPINS. With the help of commitments from conventional food labels, such as Cadbury, Starbucks and most recently Nestlé’s Kit Kat bar, consumer awareness of fair trade products will also continue to grow in 2010.
